About This Event

Today, the Executive Director of the Universities Student Leaders Association (USLA), accompanied by two members of the Secretariat, participated in the Pan-African Symposium on Logistics, Supply Chain and Strategic Business (PASCL) held at the University of Nairobi.

The symposium provided a timely and transformative platform that brought together scholars, industry experts, and innovators to engage in critical discussions on Africa’s economic future, with a strong focus on logistics systems, supply chain resilience, and strategic business leadership.

During the engagement, USLA also made a presentation highlighting its mission of nurturing young leaders across African universities and strengthening student leadership capacity in areas aligned to continental transformation. The presentation underscored the importance of equipping young people with practical competencies, technological adaptability, and a Pan-African outlook that fosters collaboration, innovation, and shared progress.

The discussions reaffirmed a central truth: Africa’s transformation will not be achieved solely through political aspiration, but through efficient systems of trade and logistics, strong institutional leadership, and intentional investment in the next generation of thinkers and doers.

USLA remains committed to building platforms that position young people as active contributors to Africa’s economic transformation and sustainable development agenda.

The Association commends the University of Nairobi and the organizers of PASCL for convening a high-level dialogue that continues to shape the future of logistics, supply chain management, and strategic business leadership across the continent.
